I don't really remember when I start to write. As far as I can remember, when I was an elementary school student, I have a diary, and I wrote in it almost everyday.
I like to write about my daily activity, my friends, or every special moment that I found around.
Then I found that it would be interesting to make a book or a novel. I start with a short story, and make it longer and longer. Of course it takes time to make it readable :p
One day, when I already have a daughter, a friend call me and offer a chance to send my short story to a tabloid. The tabloid is about scout, called "Genderang". I send a short story and next month, I found that it's in the tabloid. The most interesting moment is that that 2 pages story can give me enough money to live for a week. Wow.
So I realize that this is an nice hobby to do.
Now, when I become a teacher, I learn to share this writing spirit to my friends, especially to my students. Everytime I got something from my writing, I share with them. I told them that writing is a good hobby to do.
I thanks God that now some students can be proud that they can write, too. And they get nice experiences and of course presents for their work.
Keep going, my students. Just be sure and be your self.
