We do a journey to Sidoarjo - Surabaya - Gresik. It was a memorizing journey of our family. Because we start to live together in Surabaya - Gresik 11 years ago.
DAY 1
We plan to go by train from Malang. But it was holiday and we're late. So we choose to go by motorbyke. Don't try to imagine how I and my husband took our 9 and 7 years old girls. I think this will be the last far journey we do by motorbike. :D We love to ride motorbike, but with children that grow and grow, we know it is not a wise one.
That Friday, we try a special route from Purwosari. It's a rocky road, looks like inside a forest, fresh and we can show them the plant of peanut, bean, jati, and a special white flower. They find a black monkey too. So, it was seems like in the middle of nowhere, but so many thing we can watch. Tired? of course. But happy, yes!! Thanks God for the chance.
In Sidoarjo, we meet our niece and nephew. They play a long day, but still got sad when we had to go in the afternoon.
We leave Sidoarjo, and go to Waru by short trip train, call commuter.
It was their first chance. So they're so exited.
For your information, commuter is a train withour seat number. So we had to go fast to get seat. Thank's God we can find a seat. But I thought it's not so usefull. Because my kiddos prefer to stand so that they can watch the view from the window :D
It takes about 30 minutes from Sidoarjo to Waru.
The next step is go to the place we'll sleep that night. The choice is a new hotel named Sunshine. New small hotel with only about 20 rooms. We get the twin bed. The room is clean, nice and full facilities. We got water heater and coffee stock, too.
DAY 2
The next trip was go to a friend's house in Petemon. It's a full neighbourhood as so many places in Surabaya. But the point is to meet our friend and we can find 'em. No need to complain anything.
Then we went to Toga Mas near the Zoo. It's a homy design book store, where you can stay all day long. It's hard to leave. We find lot's of lovely and wanted book here.
For me, I can find the diary of Anne Frank. For your information, I've spent so many times to find this book. Always sold out 'till that day. So, here the stuff we bring to the next hotel.
The next hotel is De Puri. Woody interior and nice place to sleep. Although for me, who has to study that night, I need more light. :D
DAY 3
We spend that day with different activity. I stay all day long in UNAIR to do my test. My husby and kiddos went to Gramedia Basuki Rahmat, Surabaya. They said, Gramedia is a wide book store. They can find so many books there. So many things to see.
After I finished my test, we left Surabaya and our last destination is Saygon, a night park in Purwosari, about 50 km from Surabaya. So many games to play. But because we had limited time and had to save energy for the next day, we only allow our kiddos to play 3 games. They choose trampolin, flying fox and roller coaster.
The roller coaster is not that long, but good enough for experiment. :D
They love the flying fox. High and long enough.
The trampolin is the best so far we try in many places. We met the skyjump trainer too, but my kiddos and us so tired to learn. There is a flight simulator, ballon games, flying chair, boom boom car and so many other games.
We enjoy that weekend. Hope we'll get another chance to travel together again.
